Laser Lovers is located in Gulfport, Florida, less than two miles from Interstate 275 and 10 to 15 minutes from downtown St. Petersburg and the Gulf beaches.

Our laser of choice for Hair Removal is the Candela GentleLASE®, a state-of-the-art alexandrite laser recognized in the industry as the leading hair removal laser available today.

For our electrolysis patients we use the Apilus® Sr. epilator, which can be computer-calibrated in 1/1000s of a second to ensure optimum comfort levels. For our patients' safety and peace of mind we use only pre-sterilized, disposable probes.

For the removal of tattoos, we have the latest in Q-Switched technology in several wavelengths.

About Our Staff

Sandra Orlando, CME is an electrologist, licensed by the Florida Board of Medicine. Ms. Orlando is also a Certified Clinical Electrologist (CCE) and a Certified Medical Electrologist (CME), and performs all hair removal treatments. She is a member in good standing of the Electrolysis Society of Florida (ESF) and is constantly updating her knowledge base, bringing to our practice the latest in hair removal technology. Her deft hands and caring manner help to make your laser hair removal and electrolysis treatments both comfortable and successful.

Jennifer Edwards, BSCS is our Business Manager and Webmistress. She takes care of the daily operations as well as long-range business planning. She is Chairwoman of the board of directors for St. Pete Pride, has appeared on national television (CBS News, 48 Hours), and frequently speaks at universities throughout the area, as well as professional trade organizations like ESF. She is active in local politics and champions the furthering of transgender rights.

Dr Aurielo Valdes, MD, FACS, our Medical Director, is a board certified vascular surgeon licensed in the states of Florida, New Jersey, and New York. Dr. Valdes performs our laser based cosmetic and vascular procedures as well as gynecological care and hormone therapy for the transgender community.
